Dear Future Us

Capstone | Dear Future Us | Installation

"Dear Future Us" reflects on what it means to be a graphic design student in the present while imagining what future generations might inherit. Through touch-responsive print, hanging typographic installation, and audio-based digital archive, the project gathers student reflections on memory, identity, and legacy. Together, the works preserve not finished answers, but a record of becoming, asking what remains when voices, heat, and aspirations begin to shift over time. In collaboration with Narieles Guaba.

When In Time, Interactive Wall Print

A Record of Becoming, Hanging Installation, Series of 3 Banners,

What Continues, Web-Based Digital Archive

Medium 1: When in time: The thermochromic poster asks “what will matter later?”, revealing layered responses through heat; it almost mimics a memory and how it shifts over time.

Medium 2: A record of becoming: The banners focus on identity and future-self questions, capturing students’ voices about who they want to become and what they want to be remembered for.

Medium 3: What Continues: The website acts as a living archive, where audio recordings can be explored through an almost timeline. A feature that allows users to listen to personal reflections on inheritance and legacy.

⁃ Questions: What do you hope someone else learns from your story? What do you want to pass on that isn’t physical? Who taught you something that still shapes you today?
